Gary Carr
Clinical Lead Physiotherapist
Gary qualified as a physiotherapist in 1999 from the University of East London following an initial degree in Sports Science. Since qualification, he has worked extensively as a highly specialised neuro-musculoskeletal clinician both privately and to management levels within the NHS.
His experience includes 3 years at the Charlton Athletic Football Club acadamy and time in Auckland, New Zealand working alongside the former chief Olympic and All Blacks physiotherapist.
At Excel Physiotherapy and Acupuncture, Gary treats all manner of conditions from 10 year olds with sports injuries to 90+ year olds with aching backs. He has a special interest in the area of muscle imbalance with particular regard to spinal conditions and short/long term runners problems. He has been acupuncture trained for 10 years and is also qualified in the administration of cortisone (steroid) injections for inflammatory conditions/injuries.

Mark Baker
Senior Physiotherapist
From a background of international swimming and multi-sport, Mark qualified from Brunel University in 1998 and offers a wealth of clinical experience and skills gained from working in the NHS, in private and corporate health clubs and a variety of sports settings including professional football.
His extensive post graduate training includes orthopaedic medicine and qualification to instructor level in Pilates as well as vast experience in the application of acupuncture.
At Excel Mark treats all manner of musculo-skeletal conditions with a special interest in the clinical application of Pilates and the treatment/rehabilitation of sports injuries.

Rebecca Coughlan
Senior Physiotherapist
Rebecca qualified as a physiotherapist in 2003 from Kings’ College, London.
Since qualifying she has worked in both the NHS and private sectors treating patients with a variety of musculoskeletal and sports injuries.
At Excel Physiotherapy and Acupuncture Rebecca treats a wide range of acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders specialising in manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation.

Administative Staff
Ann has 6 years experience working as a physiotherapy receptionist/admin support in private practice.
